About Us

The Ranchland Hockey League is a Men's Elite Competitive hockey league that is based out of southern Alberta. We have teams in Nanton, Brooks, Gleichan, Pincher Creek, Fort Macleod, Lomond and Kainai Chiefs. The league has been around for more than 40 years, and have impacted southern Alberta comminties by helping local charities such as Minor Hockey, figure skating clubs with 100% concession sales going to those groups.

Players of the RHL have all different skill levels from Midget AA level all the way up to NHL experience in some cases but mostly Junior B. Junior A and college experience. The level of play is fantastic and is improving every year, competing against some of the top teams in Alberta during provincials in late April. There are many job's available in Southern Alberta, and new players wishing to move to into the area are encouraged to call the local teams for try-out details. There is also Lethbridge Community College and University of Lethbridge within the area and close driving distances to all games.
